2. General Provisions

These General Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter referred to as “General Terms and Conditions”) apply to all visitors to the Crystal Valley (hereinafter referred to as “the Crystal Valley”), located in Šmarješke Toplice, Slovenia (45.8639258, 15.2296535).

 

The Crystal Valley is operated by Solel d.o.o. (hereinafter referred to as the Provider), with its registered office at Brezovica 55, 8220 Šmarješke Toplice, Slovenia.

 

By entering the Crystal Valley, the visitor confirms that he/she has read and agrees to these General Terms and Conditions.

 

3. Opening Hours and Admission Fee

3.1 Summer Opening Hours (from 1 May to 15 September)

The Crystal Valley is open from 1 May to 15 September on the following days and times:

THURSDAY 11.00-20.00

FRIDAY 10.00-20.00

SATURDAY 9.00-20.00

SUNDAY 9.00-20.00

 

The last admission is at 19.00.

 

3.2 Spring Opening Hours (1 April to 30 April)

In April, the Crystal Valley is open on the following days and times:

FRIDAY 10.00-19.00

SATURDAY 9.00-19.00

SUNDAY 9.00-19.00

 

The last admission is at 18.00

 

3.3 Autumn Opening Hours

From 15 September onwards, the autumn opening hours apply:

FRIDAY 10.00-19.00

SATURDAY 9.00-19.00

SUNDAY 9.00-19.00

 

The last admission to is at 18.00.

 

The admission fee for visiting the Crystal Valley is €13 for adults and €7 for children up to the age of 16. The family ticket price is €29. The ticket is valid for the whole day. Tickets can only be purchased at the entrance of the Crystal Valley.

We also offer season tickets, which give visitors unlimited access during the Crystal Valley’s opening hours. The price of a season ticket for an adult is €49, and a family season ticket is €79. The duration of the season is not fixed in advance, as it depends on weather conditions and temperatures. Season ticket buyers will be informed in advance about the end of the season and the start of the new season. Season tickets are non-transferable. Each visitor who has purchased a season ticket is obliged to show his/her ticket to the person at the checkout upon arrival.

 

4. Other Services

4.1 Shop

In addition to selling tickets, there is also a shop on site selling crystals and incense, where payment can be made by cash or card. All prices in the shop are fixed and include VAT.

 

4.2 Guided tours

We offer regular guided tours, for which you must register in advance at the following link: https://crystal-valley.com/tickets

At the link you fill in your personal data, indicate how many tickets for the guided tour you want to buy, and then select the payment method. You can pay on site by cash and card, or by bank transfer to the TRR.

The prepayment must be made within three days, otherwise the Provider has the right to withdraw from the contract. The payer is obliged to send or show a proof of payment on site or send it to the e-mail address info@crystal-valley.com. Upon successful payment, the Provider will send the original invoice to the e-mail address provided when registering for the guided tour.

 

4.3 Gift Vouchers

The Provider offers the purchase of gift vouchers for the following activities or products:

• One day ticket voucher
• Season ticket voucher
• Guided tour voucher
• Shop voucher worth €20
• Shop voucher worth €30
• Shop voucher worth €50

All vouchers can be purchased at the shop and paid for in cash or by card. You can also order a voucher by e-mail at info@crystal-valley.com, where you can pay by bank transfer. You can also fill out the voucher for a guided tour using the general online form for registering for a guided tour: https://form.jotform.com/241713286321350. The purchase procedure is the same as described in point 4.2, in the case of purchasing a guided tour as a gift voucher, mark YES to the question “Do you want to give the guided tour as a gift voucher?” on the registration form and add the name and surname of the person who will be listed on the gift voucher.

 

Shop vouchers worth €20, €30 and €50 must be redeemed in a single amount. If the purchase value exceeds the value of the gift voucher, the excess can be paid in cash or by card.

 

Gift vouchers for day and season tickets and for the shop worth €20, €30 and €50 must be redeemed within one year of the voucher being issued.

 

No gift voucher can be exchanged for cash.

 

5. Currency

All prices are in euros (€) and include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.

 

6. Payment Methods

The customer can pay for the entrance ticket and products in the shop in the following ways:

• Cash
• Credit card

7. Rules of Conduct in the Crystal Valley

Visitors of the Crystal Valley must behave respectfully towards other visitors and towards nature.

 

The following rules apply in the Crystal Valley:

• Littering is prohibited. All waste must be disposed of in the designated waste separation bins.
• Shouting, running and disturbing other visitors is prohibited.
• Taking photographs of other people without their consent is prohibited.
• Damaging plants and animals is prohibited.
• Making fires is prohibited.
• Taking crystals is prohibited. Crystals that are located exclusively in the sandpit, where children can search for them, are allowed for children to take home.
• Dogs are allowed, but must be on a leash. The owner must clean up after them.

 

8. Safety

Visitors to the Crystal Valley are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their children.

 

The Crystal Valley does not take responsibility for any accidents or injuries that may occur on the premises.

 

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes that may arise between the Crystal Valley and visitors will be settled amicably. In the event that an amicable solution cannot be reached, the court in Novo Mesto shall have jurisdiction over any disputes.

 

10. Final Provisions

These General Terms and Conditions are published on the website crystal-valley.com/general-terms-and-conditions.

The Crystal Valley reserves the right to change these General Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

 

Any changes to the General Terms and Conditions will be published on the website.

 

 

11. Personal Data Protection

11.1 General Provisions

The controller of personal data is Solel d.o.o., with its registered office at Brezovica 55, 8220 Šmarješke Toplice, Slovenia. The controller respects and protects the privacy of individuals and undertakes to process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) – GDPR and other relevant legislation.

 

11.2 Purpose of Personal Data Processing

The controller will process personal data for the following purposes:

• Fulfilling contractual obligations (e.g. sale of goods or services, issuing invoices, delivery of goods)
• Informing about news, promotions and offers (based on consent)
• Improving the user experience (e.g. analysis of website visits)
• Pursuing the controller’s legitimate interests (e.g. preventing fraud)

 

11.3 Collected Personal Data

The controller will collect the following personal data:

• Identification data (name, surname, address, e-mail address, telephone number)
• Purchase data (types of products or services purchased, date and time of purchase, purchase amount)
• Website usage data (IP address, browser, operating system, URLs visited)

11.4 Data Retention Period

The controller will store personal data until the purpose of processing is fulfilled or until consent is withdrawn, unless otherwise provided by law.

 

11.5 Access to Personal Data

The individual has the right to access, inspect, rectify inaccurate data, erase data, restrict processing and transfer data to another controller. The individual also has the right to object to the processing of his or her personal data.

 

11.6 Security of Personal Data

The controller shall take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage.

 

11.7 Exercise of Rights

The individual may exercise all rights in relation to personal data by submitting a written request to the controller’s address or to the e-mail address info@crystal-valley.com.

 

11.8 Supervisory Authority

The Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia is responsible for supervising the protection of personal data.

 

11.9 Final Provisions

This personal data protection clause may be amended. The controller will inform individuals of any changes on its website.
